Ty Capel is a 3-room bed & breakfast in the rural outskirts of Llanidloes in the heart of Mid-Wales. Set in a unique position overlooking the Clywedog Reservoir, each room has impressive views of the reservoir and surrounding Cambrian mountains or views of the gardens, fields, rolling hills and countrside.
Ty Capel was originally built around 1860 as a Calvinistic Methodist chapel. In the 1960s it was converted into a house and remained with the same family until the owner passed away. It eventually was bought in 2019 by the present owners and is going through a restoration and modernisation to turn it into a beautiful home and bed-and-breakfast, where guests can come to relax and take in the breathtaking views that make this property so unique.
